30-year-old Danielius returns to his hometown to sell his parents’ flat, but the visit lasts longer than expected. With nowhere to rush, he tries to reconnect with the people and the town that no longer feels like his. Winner of Best Director at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival and Best Baltic Film at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Svečias – The Visitor is a quiet, tactile film about the places and people we carry with us, and about how we let them go.
